Do you remember the first time you successfully tied a knot and were celebrated for that monumental achievement? The physical embodiment of YES! vibrating and circulating throughout your body. Oh how simple life was then.
Then, the knots became more complicated; perhaps the first time you experienced feeling ‘not worthy’, and your heart became a taut and tangled ball. The feeling of being ‘not enough’ , when the harsh seeds of doubt were stitched into your tender heart by the criticism of your first art teacher, and another knot leeched itself onto your soul. Not lovable, not seeable, not valuable, each cord coiling, pulling and creating more and more tension lodged within the body.
Using our movement practice we will travel along our lifelines which may have become snared in old belief systems. We will lean into, learn from and re-lease what’s binding us through storytelling and writing, unraveling the strands that have become gnarled and twisted.
Through ritual and witnessing let’s remember and recreate a new quilt, woven from the unloved and unleashed parts of who we are. Let’s gently tease and ease the threads that have tried to hold us together, but may have been holding us back. We will call in generosity, grace and spaciousness to be our allies as we venture into uncomfortable territory, in hopes of embodying the next chapter of our unfolding story.
No prior dance, movement or writing experience is needed. Whether you are a beginner, a professional mover, writer or anything in between - this journey is for everyone! All you need is an open mind, your curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Bring your body and you will be extra prepared.

What if you decided that today, just for today, you are going to love yourself unconditionally? That you are enough. That you are exactly where you need to be. That you are already beautiful, and whole, and strong.

Camilla Steen Larsen
"In my experience our tendency to hide is driven by a deep rooted feeling of not being enough.
I am here to change that."
She believes that every single one of us is unique and not only are we necessary, we are needed as we take Remembership.
Her heart strongly beats for the power of leaning into the arms of community to learn from one another.
“I took 20 years of teachings apart, added what I felt was missing and created what I myself needed - embodied permission." ~ Camilla
Michael Molin-Skelton

“Camilla truly is a living breathing embodiment of permission, to be yourself, fully alive with what is moving you. Being around her is being in the presence of clear and fierce life force, ready to embrace and move with whatever this moment brings."
- Ida Helmers,
Somatic Relating
"That is freeing, liberating and scary at times because it means for me to leave old patterns behind and daring to truly become myself. Not the version adapting to what I assume the expectations of others are. I enter a delicate and intriguing space of now."
- Anne Stilling,
Psychologist & Movement Teacher
"I felt truly seen and experienced a permission to be all of me, even the parts I’d rather hide. Being on a floor with Camilla is fun, sensuous, expanding and also challenging in the best of ways."
- Magdalena Perers,
Embodiment Teacher
"Being and moving together keeps widening my heart, it melts me into tears to fumble and stumble with words and emotions with less shame."
- Lisa Moser,
Soul Motion Teacher
"I've seen it again and again. As soon as she enters the room everything changes."
- Pete Longworth,
Creator of Content That Matters
"I have a permission to slow down. I get to practice here then to go into the world with more confidence not needing validation.
To have someone here is such a fruitful ground for practicing."
- Anna-Riikka Kärnä,
Coach
"Nothing is required and you get just as much out of it as what you put into it.
I found a new joy in movement and dance and my honest emotional expression."
- Marko,
Business Manager
"With Camilla's guidance, practices and the community she created in Embodied Permission Training is a thrilling journey that I am still on, and truly as she puts it, a journey of a lifetime!
