FOUND — The ground beneath the tension
In this now — reading these words — what part of you is supported by the ground?
Can you sense that?
We so often carry our bodies, holding ourselves up, managing — and forget that we can also be held.
That the ground is always here, offering itself.
This weekend is a space to slow down, to listen, to give expression to the moment. Supported from underneath, we find ground — to root, to begin.
Found comes from the Latin fundus —
the bottom, the base, the foundation.
The place from which things grow.
Yet we tend to think our unpolished, unpoetic parts
are less valuable than the ones that move us forward —
believing we must be different to be worthy.
What if we surrendered to the never-ending cycles of change?
What if the ground beneath the tension is where aliveness waits?
Whether on the floor in movement or in the dance we do with pen on paper, this workshop invites you to let go of what was — even when it feels familiar and safe — and step into the wild, unpredictable unknown of now.
We will loosen the grip of old habits.
What was sets the where to in motion.
From the depth, something new emerges.
Found.
"And you grasp it in your hand and press it to your heart and put it back where it belongs. Found.”
- Lina Patel
Facilitator — Camilla Steen Larsen
Camilla listens to the body the way some listen to prayer — with devotion, curiosity, and a quiet kind of reverence.
For more than 35 years she has been guiding humans back into themselves — through movement, through stillness, through breath, through the quiet kind of presence that changes everything. She is a dancer by nature, a poet of the nervous system, a facilitator, mentor, embodiment coach, writer, and speaker — but beneath all titles she is simply a woman devoted to the living body.
Her work reminds us of what we often forget:
that we are already whole, already worthy, already enough.
Camilla believes we are each a necessary part of the collective weaving — not just welcome, but needed.
Her teachings invite us to remember, to return, to Re-member ourselves back into belonging.
She brings embodied leadership, mindful living, conscious relating, nervous system awareness, and deep somatic inquiry into every room she enters — whether on a dance floor, a conference stage, or in intimate community.
“I took 20 years of teachings apart, added what I felt was missing, and created what I myself needed — Embodied Permission.” — Camilla
Community is her heartbeat. Softening is her method.
Presence is her home.
About The Embodied Permission™ Method
Found unfolds within the field of Embodied Permission —
a somatic approach to living, loving, and leading with pleasure, play, and purpose.
Embodied Permission weaves together conscious movement, nervous system regulation, physiology and anatomy and deep body awareness integrating the right–left brain — an invitation to live and lead your life as a moving meditation.
As we find safety within, we realise the only permission we ever needed was our own.
In music or stillness, in movement or stillness, Embodied Permission invites you to soften, feel, move the way your body has been waiting to — and meet yourself with tenderness, expression, and truth.
Whether moving or resting, in sound or spacious silence, this work offers a space with no judgement, no right or wrong — where everything is possible and nothing is expected.
A place where you can relax your edges, feel yourself, and express freely.
A place to return to what is already here.
A place to be Found.
“Camilla truly is a living breathing embodiment of permission, to be yourself, fully alive with what is moving you. Being around her is being in the presence of clear and fierce life force, ready to embrace and move with whatever this moment brings."
- Ida Helmers,
Somatic Relating
"That is freeing, liberating and scary at times because it means for me to leave old patterns behind and daring to truly become myself. Not the version adapting to what I assume the expectations of others are. I enter a delicate and intriguing space of now."
- Anne Stilling,
Psychologist & Movement Teacher
"I felt truly seen and experienced a permission to be all of me, even the parts I’d rather hide. Being on a floor with Camilla is fun, sensuous, expanding and also challenging in the best of ways."
- Magdalena Perers,
Embodiment Teacher
"Being and moving together keeps widening my heart, it melts me into tears to fumble and stumble with words and emotions with less shame."
- Lisa Moser,
Soul Motion Teacher
"I've seen it again and again. As soon as she enters the room everything changes."
- Pete Longworth,
Creator of Content That Matters
"I have a permission to slow down. I get to practice here then to go into the world with more confidence not needing validation.
To have someone here is such a fruitful ground for practicing."
- Anna-Riikka Kärnä,
Coach
"Nothing is required and you get just as much out of it as what you put into it.
I found a new joy in movement and dance and my honest emotional expression."
- Marko,

"With Camilla's guidance, practices and the community she created in Embodied Permission Training is a thrilling journey that I am still on, and truly as she puts it, a journey of a lifetime!
