Embodied Evenings

Every second Wednesday of the month
@Zoku Copenhagen

-a living salon · a modern ritual.

Once a month, we gather.

We talk. We soften.

An intimate evening where embodied presence, storytelling, reflection, and conversation meet.

Part salon, part modern ritual — a space where thoughtful people come together to slow down and reconnect with what matters.

Through storytelling, embodied presence, movement, and conversation, we gather around the themes many of us quietly carry:
belonging, longing, aliveness, exhaustion, nourishment, change, creativity, the pressure to hold it all together.

Each evening opens a different doorway.
Not to fix ourselves, but to meet ourselves — and one another — more honestly.
Together, we stretch, sit, listen, reflect, move, and share stories beneath the stories.
Not because anyone needs to perform vulnerability.
But because something changes when we gather as humans instead of roles.

Arrive · Land · Stay
Each evening begins with a short talk and embodied invitation.
From there we move into shared reflections and conversation.

For those who wish to stay, the evening continues through informal conversation and connection.

A Living Room Session — where self-development softens into real life.

Perhaps you recognize this:
The feeling of always moving a little too fast.
Longing for deeper conversations than the ones happening at the surface.
Feeling surrounded, yet somehow alone in what you carry.
A nervous system that rarely fully exhales.
Creativity waiting for more space.
A body asking to be listened to.
The sense that life has become very full, yet something essential is missing.

Maybe you are in a season of change.
Maybe you are questioning old ways of living, relating, working, or being.
Maybe you simply miss gathering as humans — without needing to perform, fix, achieve, or explain yourself
.
Embodied Evenings is for the curious, the thoughtful, the feeling ones.

For those longing for a slower rhythm, meaningful conversations, embodied presence, and spaces where they can arrive more honestly as themselves.

Camilla Steen Larsen

I created Embodied Evenings from a longing I kept meeting — in myself, in private sessions, and in the people around me.

The longing to connect.
To be felt.
To be heard.
To be seen.

A longing for spaces where we can arrive more honestly.
Where conversation is allowed to deepen.
Where the nervous system can soften.
Where the body is not left behind while we speak about life.

So much of modern life asks us to keep moving.
To perform wellness, productivity, certainty, even connection.
And somewhere along the way, many of us stopped feeling truly met — by ourselves and by one another.

I do not believe we are meant to navigate life only through the mind.
Nor do I believe we are meant to move through change, grief, creativity, love, work, or becoming alone.

Embodied Evenings was born as a different kind of gathering.
One where storytelling, movement, reflection, presence, and honest conversation can exist in the same room.
Not as something to perfect.
But as something to practice together.
A return, perhaps, to something deeply human we have always known.

About Camilla
Camilla Steen Larsen is the creator of The Embodied Permission Method™ — a body of work exploring embodied presence, storytelling, movement, and human connection.

For more than 35 years, she has guided people back to the body as a place of clarity, aliveness, self-leadership, and belonging.

Her work weaves together movement, deep body awareness, conversation, and nervous system attunement to create spaces where people can arrive more honestly as themselves.

“Being around her is being in the presence of clear and fierce life force."

“Camilla truly is a living breathing embodiment of permission, to be yourself, fully alive with what is moving you. Being around her is being in the presence of clear and fierce life force, ready to embrace and move with whatever this moment brings."

- Ida Helmers,
Somatic Relating

"Embodied Permission gives me the permission to be me."

"That is freeing, liberating and scary at times because it means for me to leave old patterns behind and daring to truly become myself. Not the version adapting to what I assume the expectations of others are. I enter a delicate and intriguing space of now."

- Anne Stilling,
Psychologist & Movement Teacher

"First time meeting Camilla it was like coming home."

"I felt truly seen and experienced a permission to be all of me, even the parts I’d rather hide. Being on a floor with Camilla is fun, sensuous, expanding and also challenging in the best of ways."

- Magdalena Perers,
Embodiment Teacher

"It is coming home to myself, my body, the bigger "we", to being human."

"Being and moving together keeps widening my heart, it melts me into tears to fumble and stumble with words and emotions with less shame."

- Lisa Moser,
Soul Motion Teacher

"Camilla changes people’s lives simply by stepping into their field."

"I've seen it again and again. As soon as she enters the room everything changes."

- Pete Longworth,
Creator of Content That Matters

"I don't have to think about what is allowed or not, there is just a permission."

"I have a permission to slow down. I get to practice here then to go into the world with more confidence not needing validation.
To have someone here is such a fruitful ground for practicing."

- Anna-Riikka Kärnä,
Coach

"I allowed myself to be the size I am without trying to be smaller or less visible."

"Nothing is required and you get just as much out of it as what you put into it.
I found a new joy in movement and dance and my honest emotional expression."

- Marko,
Business Manager

"I am coming out of hiding and coming home. "

"With Camilla's guidance, practices and the community she created in Embodied Permission Training is a thrilling journey that I am still on, and truly as she puts it, a journey of a lifetime!

- Anne Stilling,
Movement Teacher & Psychologist
